Martin Ykema has been working as Chief Operating Officer at Vienna International Hotelmanagement (now Vienna House) since the 1st of September 2013 and is responsible for the operational management of all hotels of the group.
His international hotel career includes destinations as Amsterdam, The Hague, New York and Prague. From August 2007 until his appointment to the VI-Management Board, he was Area Director with Lindner Hotels. Before that, he has been in-charge-of 15 hotels of Sofitel, Mercure and Novotel brands for Accor/Orbis in North Poland.
Martin Ykema has a Bachelor’s Degree from the Dutch Hotelschool The Hague in Den Haag.
