Christopher Cox joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts in April 2013 as Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe. In this position, Christopher oversees the retention and expansion of Preferred Hotels & Resorts portfolio throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland and leads the company’s development in Eastern Europe and Turkey.
Christopher has over 20 years experience in luxury hotel management and hospitality sales and marketing and has acquired a wealth of industry expertise. Before embarking on his current role at Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Christopher held General Manager positions at Falkensteiner Schlosshotel in Velden, Austria and Carlton Hotel in St Moritz, Switzerland. Other prominent roles include Director of Sales & Marketing at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St Moritz and several key sales positions at Kempinski Hotels. Christopher is a graduate of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and The Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He is fluent in German, English and French.
