Renata Králová is the Director of the Tourism Department at the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She has been working at the Ministry of Regional Development since 2004.
Ms. Králová has had a long career in legal issues related to travel, among others by publishing articles and occasional lecturing. She co-authored a monograph on Travel Law in 2015. She also participated in working bodies of the EU Council.
Renata Králová considers international cooperation in the tourism industry to be crucial.Her responsibilities at the Ministry of Regional Development include inter alia the transposition of the EU Directive on package travel and linked travel arrangements, the National Tourism Support Program, National Tourism Policy of the Czech Republic (for the years 2014 – 2020), National Service Quality System, cooperation with the The Czech Tourism Authority (CzechTourism) and many others.
