The agency CzechTourism is a state-funded organization whose founder is theMinistry for Regional Development and which develops its activity in accordance with the objectives of the founder, the founding charter and applicable statutes.

CzechTourism fundamental objective is to promote the Czech Republic as a tourist destination abroad and in the Czech Republic. To achieve this fulfills CzechTourism in coordination with MRD following main tasks:

1. Coordination of activities in the field of tourism

support comprehensive development of tourism,
cooperation in tourism with state and local governments, professional organizations, universities, research and advisory institutions and analogous foreign institutions, financial institutions,

ensuring support and coordination of marketing activities on the domestic and foreign markets,

support for the creation of tourism products with eco-friendly environment,
publishing promotional materials about the Czech Republic in their respective language versions,
cooperation with regions in the Czech Republic involvement in the development of natural tourism areas, the effect on their tourism development and attractiveness,
setting up offices abroad to inform foreign journalists, professionals and the general public about the tourist offer in the Czech Republic and comprehensively promote the sale of national tourism products
and other activities related to ensuring the tasks of destination marketing
